Well after watching the game on Sunday one has to wonder if this team is still split over the controversy of the beginning of the year. This team is not playing with the leadership and the enthusiasm of the Packers of 2007. As I stated in a post from earlier this year I felt this team would be divided and feel deep down this is now true. Aaron Rodgers started out OK and I think the team played well also but barring the injuries after Rodgers came back to earth (and anyone who knows football should have known it would happen) because

his experience would catch up with him, the team has seemed to fault er. I said at the beginning of the year this team would need Brett Favre if it wanted to go to the Superbowl this year and I have now been proved right! A defense that goes from one of the top in the league to almost last shows me something is wrong with the picture, Rodgers will be good but just not with this much pressure. So in conclusion Ted you were wrong! This was not the year to make the change because as you can see Favre is still having record games with a team no where near as talented as the team that "coulda" You have spoiled the year in football for packer fans that could have seen a team possibly go to the Superbowl but now are going to struggle just to make the playoffs

Although I'll always feel our path to this years superbowl is playing with the Jets right now I do have to give Rodgers a lot of credit for the plays he's making with all the pressure that must be on him. We still have to see a lot more from this team as the Vikes are really a pitiful excuse of a team being led by a quarterback that looks like he's still playing highschool football, but I did like what I saw Monday night.

Well as much as we hate what the Green Bay Packers did to a legend of our time and the way they went about it one thing remains...We are still Packer Fans, the best fans in the world. Aaron Rodgers did look pretty cool with all the pressure on him, and did make some plays but the question is...Is he the one to take us all the way? I'm kind of stuck in the middle of that one till I see more then a little stint in the preseason, one play right at the begining of the game you saw Aaron Rodgers shaking his hand after he went down to a tackle and I said to myself Uh-Oh here we go but he did shake that one off. As far as I can see Rodgers will be ok if he stays healthy and keeps the playing the way he did on Monday night, but I will say one thing he made some good passes but the premium receivers The Green Bay Packers have kept his butt out of trouble also. The one thing I thought for sure was this team was going to be divided but after watching them Monday night I think the fact of the matter is they are Pros and what they do with their talents counts for what they get paid and I now think they will rally behind Rodgers and move on to be a winning team, probably not as far as if they had Favre but for a first year starter in Rodgers they should do ok.

Well after the shambles the head strong management has made of this I say kudos to you Brett. I love the fact that you reported and put this management in this situation. The way they have treated a legend of our time that did nothing but put the Packers back on top, I don't blame you for wanting out right now. I myself if I were you would say Ok pay me 12 million to sit and watch the games. As far as this writers feelings go I've had it with this management and can't wait to see them ousted. I think from day one TT and MM have wanted to build their own dynasty and don't feel Brett Favre was part of that plan because he was already here and already a dynasty. Well I can honestly say boys you have divided this team with this mess you've created and this year will show it, and I for one am going to be sitting back and wait for you to be gone. PackerTalk and the fans of Green Bay do not want to see the Packers go back to the days of the 70's and 80's and by letting Favre go your on your way there! PU to the management of the Green Bay Packers!

What a shambles you've made out of this Ted T. This could have been so easy and you have showed in your actions the REAL reasoning. I'll give you one thing Ted T. when it comes to the draft you are a semi genious but when it comes to PR You SUCK! You have taken a situation with a Green Bay icon that would have been so simple to remedy in many aspects and because of your ego made it a media shambles! Even to the point offering 20 million dollars of PACKER money to try and make it go away...The guy wants to play!! Now I'm asking Packer Fans that read this site to use the forum and post your comments to the blog! We want your opinions whether you agree with us or not. Lets let eveyone know how you feel about this and all Packer situations! The sites called PackerTalk Packer Fans Speak UP!

Well after siding a little with management we at Packertalk have found out that management egos were lying to us! So I'm going to stand by my first comments that its the egeo of this management that doesn't want Favre to play....Why?....Because they didn't build him! How dare they come out and say "It's Bretts fault he didn't make up his mind fast enough and the Packers are ready to move on and him playing here is not an option" and all the fans who say "We can't sit around and wait for him to make up his mind" Well all we have to Say Ted and fans is that is not Favres fault...IT'S YOURS... Ted who do you think created the monster in the first place.....YOU TED....you gave him the options of doing it every year for 4 years. You've let him wait every year for 4 years so how is he suppose to know it wasn't meant for this year to? And after a year like he had this last year why would you not expect that he would wait again and clear his head instead of forcing a desicion in March. Well mangement all we have to say now here at Packertalk now is this. Ted if you have enough confidence in yourself on how great a GM you are and have moved on and feel that Favre is not good enough to move on with you then trade him to the Bears (Who we hate, but to prove a point) because if he isn't good enough to move on with you then how can he hurt you and your greatness of GM'ness with the Bears?

Now fans we need some opions here, we know by the traffic stats you people are here reading everyday so step in and speak up and lets hear what eveyone has to say on the subject!!

Well now it seems that maybe we ripped management to soon. As the story goes they were going to welcome him back with open arms in March 3 weeks after he retired and he changed his mind once again!! Now Brett you know we love ya but I can see managements point, they cant depend on fickleness. I think after everything the packers have given Brett and everything Bretts given the packers it time to sit down and decide what is best for both parties. There are really only to options to make everyone happy (Management and Brett) He either plays here or they use him to get a decent trade with (AFC Of Course). If both cooperate everyone will win, if they keep feuding it will bite someone in the ass! These are the only 2 options period! We all know a man who took a team to within 1 game of the superbowl will not be a back up nor should he be. Now thats not to say Rodgers couldn't do it (after all the young talented team behind Favre did have something to with it) but I stand behind my original posts, the chances are much better with the Experience of Favre.

Hello Everyone and welcome back to Packertalk. Yes we have a fresh new look but are still run by the same great team. We welcome you to visit the forum and start giving us some ideas on what you the fans think about the Brett Favre Saga. We at Packertalk love the man but need the imput of you the fans! I myself feel that you have to do one of two things in this instance. One you have to bring the man back if not for Tom Brady he would have had his 3rd MVP! 38 years old or not the Packers best chance at another super bowl is him. The difference in him and Rodgers is with Rodgers your looking at a division championship and with Farve your looking at a conference championship and possible superbowl there is no doubt about that!!!

Now on the other hand if the issue is forced and The "egos" of management gets in the way (because Thompson wants to build his own team and he didn't recruit Favre) Then you must trade him and suffer the consequences when it blows up in your face because with the quaterback situation in the NFL you WILL get something for the man, how can you not?

Now feel free to sign up in the forums, it's free and lets get some of the opions of all the packers fans out there!
